About

Meet Betty

FOUNDER OF NOMOON, LOVER OF STAR WARS, AND BULLDOGS.

As an avid world traveler, I’ve visited many unique destinations such as Greenland, Faroe Islands, and the Arctic. Prior to Los Angeles, I lived in the Bay Area for over thirty years, graduated from University of California, Berkeley (go Bears), and worked in corporate law. I moved to Los Angeles, quit corporate, and started Nomoon Travel in 2016. During the pandemic, I launched other successful brands, such as Tulum YachtsGo Tulum Travel, and Nomoon Studio, focusing on marketing and lead generation. I currently create inspirational travel content, consult for luxury travel brands, and volunteer as a 501st Legion Stormtrooper and Cal Alumni Mentors program. My hobbies include film, aviation, and good coffee.

LET’S TALK BUSINESS.

More than travel.

I had no travel industry experience prior to quitting my corporate legal job. I taught myself how to code and learned SEO, digital marketing, and building websites. With this entrepreneurial knowledge and travel expertise, I was able to create successful travel brands. I would love to help other travel businesses strategize a marketing game plan. Contact me and let’s discuss your project.

A little bit of everything. Not too trendy, but not outdated. I dress street Californian with a touch of NYC chic. I love mid-century and art deco. I tend to wear jeans more than dresses. I am now incorporating more staples and classic pieces into the wardrobe.
