Affordable Things to Do in Los Angeles Local Guide

After living in Los Angeles for more than 15 years, this guide shares some of my favorite affordable things to do in Los Angeles, from free museums to local neighborhoods and everyday spots I actually go back to.
Today, I serve as a Discover LA ambassador, continuing to connect travelers and locals with experiences that capture the spirit of the city. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that you don’t have to spend a lot to enjoy Los Angeles. Some of the most memorable places are free, historic, or simply great spots to take in the views, art, food, and culture around you.
Here are some of my favorite affordable places and experiences across Los Angeles.
